If we could translate a dog’s Sniff Around experience into English, turn it into a video and condense it to four minutes, we think it would go a little something like this. (Dogs are surprisingly appreciative of the philosophical underpinning of The Watering Bowl.)

Building this place into a true Cage-Free Canine Community has been a labor of love. And trying to capture it in one single piece of communication has been a massive undertaking.

First, we want to say thank you to our staff. We mentioned it in the video, but it’s worth repeating that without their involvement and dedication, none of this would be possible. The people who work at The Watering Bowl are a passionate and dedicated bunch. They work holidays and weekends—while everyone else is on vacation—to make sure that these beloved dogs are safe and cared for.

We also want to thank our clients, the ones on the other end of the leash. They trust us with their dogs, and they care enough for their dogs to make this a genuine Cage-Free Canine Community.

They come out to group hikes. They meet us at dog parks. They participate in our contests. They help us raise money for local rescue organizations. All in all, they make The Watering Bowl what it is, and we are eternally grateful for that.

And we want to thank our good friends, Mark and Meg Halski, of Halski Studio, who filmed and edited this video along with audio from electropolis.

We’ve worked with them in the past, and they always pull out all the stops for us. In fact, on our second day of shooting, they sacrificed their brand-new drone to get a shot of Madden and Jeremy walking through a creek. The shot didn’t even make the final edit, but the production value they brought to the entire piece is greatly appreciated.

But it’s really all about the dogs. Who can resist a video featuring these guys? And how can you not make something fun to watch that focuses on the amazing pack we get to serve at each of our three locations. They’re the stars, and we’re the lucky ones who get to work with them
