Okay, glad that we got that out of the way. Once again, welcome to The Dog Grove. We’ve got fun and games.

Scratch that. Seriously, there’s a story to tell here, and it doesn’t involve an 80’s rock band. We’ll save that for another day.

This is about our third location. But it’s also bigger than that.

It’s about what this third location means to our community. We’re in an amazing part of town. It’s between the two of the most traveled highways in our city. And we’re on a lot people’s ways to work.

Dog Grove, The Watering Bowl location

Our theory was that most people would enjoy their commutes to and from work just a little bit more if they had a dog with them.

It’s great that we’re right between the recently revitalized Grove neighborhood and, fittingly enough, Dogtown.

But we’re also excited to launch this store in a building that had been abandoned for a long while. The original builders of an industrial manufacturing facility probably never envisioned a doggy daycare with a built-in training facility and all the joy that will come with it.

The Watering Bowl New Location

So, The Dog Grove it is. It’s our way of paying homage to this fortuitous, historical and just plain old convenient location that we think does a great job of showing what we’re all about.

It speaks to our neighbors, The Humane Society, Hillside Animal Hospital and Gateway Pet Guardians who have cultivated a dog-friendly environment. And it speaks to our commitment to our growing cage-free canine community.

So, look for the banners marking The Dog Grove on Manchester between Hampton and Kingshighway. They’ll lead you right to a whole bunch of happy dogs. And who doesn’t love that?

The only thing that could possibly make this any more significant might be a hashtag or something.
