The last school bell has rung, and we all know what that means. Swimming pools, playing outside and spending a lot of time with friends.
And that’s not just at The Watering Bowl doggy daycare and boarding. Kids are doing it, too.
Well, that got us thinking. What if there were a way for kids and dogs to keep learning and having fun together while school’s out this year?
That’s where Butt Sniffers Academy fits right in. While our obedience classes may not cover multiplication tables and history lessons, they can teach your kids and dogs how to better understand each other and help them socialize along the way.
From puppy class to basic obedience to intermediate and even an agility class, there’s a ton of learning to do. And the dean of Butt Sniffers Academy, Tracy Pritchard, welcomes kids to join in the experience. “Kids are quick learners. And they share a kinship with their pets. The more they can learn together, the more likely the skills they pick up at Butt Sniffers will be reinforced at home,” she tells us. And it makes sense.
Not to mention, our four-legged institute of higher learning offers a new activity for kids that you might not have considered before. Good thing we’re open year-round.
Check out our Butt Sniffers page for specific information on each class we offer plus our Stay & Train and In-Home Training options for your pup.
Email or call today to find the best location and time to enroll in a class with us.
And if you sign up with your child, he or she can look forward to their very own Butt Sniffers Academy t-shirt to show off to all their friends.
It doesn’t get much better than hanging out with dogs and kids this summer. Unless, of course, you can learn a few new things along the way.
