Community can’t be Caged

It’s always been a tight-knit group here — some 120 employees who we consider family. And as anyone with a big family knows, that’s a lot of mouths to feed. But with your help, we’ve made it through.

First came the gift card purchases, which exceeded our wildest expectations. Then, you helped raise over $10,000 for a staff food and supply bank. This, alongside a generous donation from Treats Unleashed and another wonderful friend who has asked to remain anonymous, ensured that the people who care for your dogs, could care for their families. 

Your support gave us the power to stick together and serve. The Waggin’ Wagon has made rounds, providing food to furloughed employees. And with the recent surge in adoptions and fostering, we started offering free virtual basic training to some of our favorite rescues. 

If we could find the words to express every ounce of our gratitude, this would be the longest blog post of all time. But when sentences fail, a song can pick up the slack.
